VeroMetal® is a real metal wall cladding system used by architects, interior designers and contractors to apply genuine metal surfaces directly to interior and exterior walls, bonding to plasterboard, concrete, MDF and stone without structural modification.
VeroMetal Bronze, interior wall and cabinet
Metal wall cladding refers to any system that applies a metal surface to an interior or exterior wall. Traditional approaches use rigid sheet metal panels fixed to a structural frame, a method that requires significant load-bearing support, specialist fabrication and complex installation.
VeroMetal® takes a fundamentally different approach. The coating is composed of real metal particles in a cold-workable resin binder, applied directly to the wall surface using a spray gun, roller or palette knife. No panels, no fixings, no structural loading. The applied coating thickness of 120 to 150 microns delivers a genuine metal surface in bronze, copper, brass, zinc, iron, manganese and more, with real texture, real weight and the capacity to develop genuine patina over time.
The coating is applied cold, on-site, without heat or specialist equipment. Three steps take it from a wet mixture to a genuine metal wall surface that can be sanded, polished, patinated and sealed.
Real metal particles are combined with a cold-workable resin binder in the chosen metal, from bronze and copper to iron and manganese.
The liquid is applied directly to the prepared and primed wall by spray gun, roller or palette knife, at a combined thickness of 120 to 150 microns.
Once cured, the wall is sanded, polished, patinated and sealed on-site, without specialist equipment, to reach its final character.
VeroMetal® offers over 15 metal finishes suitable for wall cladding. The choice of metal depends on the design intent, the finish treatment, and whether the surface will be sealed or left to develop natural patina.
Warm, classic and widely specified in hospitality and residential wall applications. Develops verdigris over time if left unsealed.
A distinctive warm tone that oxidises to deep brown and green patina. Popular in contemporary and luxury residential projects.
A refined gold tone, used with Champagne for warm wall surfaces in luxury residential and hospitality projects.
The most decorative finish, for feature walls, statement panels and bespoke architectural detail.
A cool, grey architectural tone. Popular in Scandinavian-influenced and contemporary minimalist interiors.
A pale, subtle grey with a quiet sheen, elegant on walls, reveals and fine detailing.
Deep, near-black. Suited to minimalist interiors, feature walls and high-contrast design schemes.
Raw, industrial and architectural, with a living patina that develops through exposure. Suited to commercial and office interiors.
Real metal where solid metal cannot go. A curved wall, an arched reveal and a full interior fit-out all carry genuine metal, seamlessly, with no framing and no fixings.
Architects and project developers evaluating metal wall cladding options typically compare VeroMetal® against sheet metal panel systems. The differences are significant in terms of installation, versatility and design freedom.
VeroMetal, interior wall cladding project
VeroMetal® is suitable for wall cladding projects at any scale, from a single feature wall to a full interior fit-out. Applicators work directly on the wall, which reduces lead times and eliminates the coordination complexity of panel delivery and installation.
VeroMetal® metal wall cladding is specified across a wide range of interior and architectural applications.

Metal wall cladding is a surface treatment that gives interior or exterior walls the appearance and texture of real metal. VeroMetal® is a liquid metal coating applied at 120 to 150 microns directly to existing wall surfaces. It contains real metal particles, bronze, copper, iron, zinc and more, and produces an authentic metal wall surface without the weight or structural requirements of sheet metal panels.
Yes. VeroMetal® bonds directly to most existing wall surfaces including plasterboard, painted walls, concrete, brick, stone and MDF. A certified applicator prepares the surface, applies a primer coat, and then applies VeroMetal on-site. No wall removal or structural modification is required, making VeroMetal suitable for renovation and refurbishment projects as well as new-build interiors.
Yes. VeroMetal® is a liquid coating and conforms to any wall geometry. Curved surfaces, arched walls, reveals and profiled architectural elements can all receive a continuous metal finish. This is not possible with rigid sheet metal cladding, which requires specialist fabrication for any non-planar surface.
VeroMetal® is an abrasion-resistant coating used in demanding interior environments including museums, hotels and commercial offices. A sealed VeroMetal wall surface maintains its appearance with standard cleaning and is resistant to everyday wear. An unsealed surface develops natural patina over time, a quality many architects and designers actively specify for its organic character.
Architects specify VeroMetal® by selecting the metal finish from the range, determining the application method and surface preparation requirements, and choosing the finishing treatment, sealed or unsealed. VeroMetal provides full technical documentation including datasheets and application guides. Certified VeroMetal applicators are available to execute the specification on-site.
